This AI Robot Vacuum Cleaner Can Monitor Your Pets and Find Jewelry

Today, AI is everywhere, and at the ongoing CES 2026, there is an AI-powered robot vacuum cleaner from Narwal that can do a lot more than just clean the floor. It comes with the features that can watch over pets, detect valuable items like jewelry, and alert users about misplaced toys.

At the center of this update is Narwal’s new flagship robot vacuum, the Flow 2. At first glance, it may look like a regular vacuum cleaner with a rounded design and easy-lift tanks. But it also uses two 1080p RGB cameras with a wide 136-degree field of view to map rooms and recognize objects using AI. The company claims that this setup allows the robot to identify an unlimited number of objects over time.

The vacuum cleaner uses a hybrid AI approach. According to Narwal, the Flow 2 first tries to recognize objects directly on the device. If it cannot find a match, the data is sent to the cloud for further analysis. This approach helps the vacuum improve its object recognition without relying fully on the cloud all the time.

However, the main highlight of this vacuum cleaner is that it comes with pet care, baby care, and AI floor tag modes. So if the vacuum cleaner is in the pet care mode, then users can set zones where pets usually rest, while also using the robot to check in on them through two-way audio.

Similarly, in baby care mode, the vacuum switches to a quieter operation near a crib and sends alerts if it spots misplaced toys. The AI floor tag mode focuses on valuable items like jewelry, allowing the robot to avoid them and notify the user instead of risking damage or loss.

Though cleaning is still the main work that the Flow 2 does. It comes with multiple cleaning modes that can detect different types of dirt. If an area is still dirty after one pass, the robot can return to its base, wash the mop, and go back to re-clean the spot. Narwal also claims the new design supports higher hot water temperatures when washing the mop.

Alongside the Flow 2, Narwal also showcased a lightweight handheld vacuum called the U50. It weighs about 1.41 kg and includes UV-C sterilization and heat treatment to reduce allergens. The company also demoed a slim cordless vacuum with a 360-degree swivel design, up to 50 minutes of runtime, and an auto-empty station that can hold dust for up to 60 days.
