The Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed it will showcase its first humanoid robot on March 1 in Barcelona, just one day before MWC 2026 officially begins.
The company has confirmed that along with the Magic V6 foldable and its Robot Phone with a pop-out camera, it will also be pulling the wraps off its first-ever humanoid robot on March 1 in Barcelona, Spain.
Teaser reveals visor, glass face, and Alpha branding
The humanoid robot seems to have a visor-like component on its forehead. The most logical explanation here is that it houses a camera, one that could help the robot navigate its surroundings, dodge obstacles, and respond to context-based queries about its environment. The face of the robot is hollow and covered with a glass panel, giving it a distinct look that sets it apart from some of the more humanlike robots we’ve seen from other companies.

On its back, the robot carries the “alpha” branding, the same label Honor has used for its Robot Phone. It indicates that Honor could be building out a broader “alpha” product line that blurs the line between mobile devices and robotics. Like other humanoid robots on the market, this one comes with a full set of limbs, meaning it can move around and physically interact with objects in its environment.
Honor hasn’t gone deep on specs or capabilities yet, but since March 1 is approaching fast, we will not have to wait long to get the complete picture.
MWC 2026 Is Going to Be an AI Hardware Show
If the upcoming MWC 2026 follows the same pattern as recent tech shows like CES 2026 then we can expect the event floor to be packed with AI-powered devices. I am hoping to see smartphones with on-device AI to wearables, laptops, and yes, possibly more robots.
I will be covering the MWC 2026, extensively on AI Hardware, so make sure to stay tuned.
