5 “Weird” AI Gadgets from CES 2026 You Missed

The Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2026 has wrapped up, and as expected, it was full of AI updates like smarter laptops, better chips, and more on-device AI. But if you looked past the major booths, a different trend emerged this year where AI is getting physical, and sometimes weird.

That’s why today I have decided to list out 5 of the weirdest AI gadgets that might have been missed at the CES 2026.

Sweekar (Takway AI)

Takway AI showcased Sweekar, which is said to be the world’s first physically growing AI-powered pocket pet.

The device starts as a small, egg-shaped object. Over time, it physically expands and transforms into a full pet-like form. The hardware itself grows, with the mix of robotics with AI-driven emotional intelligence.

It is inspired by Tamagotchi but fixes its biggest flaw. It won’t “die” if you neglect it. Instead, the AI adapts to how you interact with it, learning your habits, recognizing your voice, and evolving its personality over time.

It also allows you to customize its outfits, interact through speech, and build an emotional bond that changes as the device grows.

AI-Tails Smart Feeding and Drinking Station

AI-Tails, the Swiss startup, showcased an AI-powered feeding and drinking station for cats that also focuses on health monitoring. It uses cameras to analyze facial expressions and behavior while pets eat or drink.

The goal is to detect early illness, long before serious symptoms appear. However, during the demo at CES, the system even misidentified a human as a “sick cat,” which shows us that the device is not yet ready to make a debut in the market.

Though it will come with an app, that will allow owners to get real-time insights into hydration levels, nutrition patterns, and unusual behavior like sudden changes in eating or drinking.

Loona Deskmate

KEYi Tech showed its Loona Deskmate at the CES 2026, which is one of the most playful AI gadgets from this year’s show.

Basically, it’s a MagSafe charger. But the moment you mount your iPhone on it, the dock turns the phone into a small robotic assistant. The device swivels, nods, and turns to face you, using movements that feel straight out of a Pixar movie.

Apart from that, the Loona Deskmate also gets integrated with your iPhone, which means it can act as a companion for reminders, interactions, and light productivity tasks.

Vibe Bot

It is a portable AI agent that is primarily designed for offices and hybrid workspaces. While placed on a desk, it can record meetings, capture conversations, and turn discussions into actionable tasks with the help of cameras and sensors mounted on the device. The company is marketing this device as an in-room AI teammate rather than just a software tool.

Along with basic note-taking, the device is also capable enough to track mood, gestures, and the environment to offer proactive emotional support. The Vibe Bot is available for pre-order at $1,599, via the official Vibe site, with shipments starting late February 2026 and estimated delivery 1-2 weeks later.

AI Smart Toilets

This was one of the weirdest AI gadgets from the show. Vivoo showed its Smart Toilet Sensor, which is a $99 clip-on for your toilet.

Vivoo showed its Smart Toilet Sensor at CES 2026, which is one of the weirdest AI gadgets from this year’s show. It gives real-time insights to your app about dehydration or overhydration, by analyzing the urine density and color with the help of its optical sensors.
